Nice hotel but not close to the Historical Rome Center

Nice hotel. Rooms were immaculate and the staff was very helpful. We asked for extra pillows because the pillows were very thin. Bathroom shower is very small, but water pressure and temperature were great in the afternoon. No AC after Apr 15, so we opened the windows to our tiny balcony. Your view is other apartment buildings or the market square directly across from the hotel. Nothing spectacular. This hotel is very popular with tour groups, including the one I was in. Restaurant Gray was decent, but there are better restaurants within walking distance. Our first and second night we opted for local restaurants because Restaurant Gray was packed and the noise was extremely loud. We dined in the hotel restaurant when our tour group was the only one at the hotel. Breakfasts is extremely crowded from opening time to 0800. I wished we could have dined later, around 0830, but all tour groups seemed to start their day tour or departure at the same time. The breakfast staff worked very hard to clear tables. Food was OK; the "hot" foods were lukewarm at best. This hotel is located 6-8 miles from the historical center of Rome. There is a taxi stand directly across from the hotel, but by 0830 the spaces are empty. We used an app to get a taxi. Cost was 22 Euros and the travel time was 45 minutes. Return trip was 25 Euro, so figure in taxi costs if you stay here and want to see historical Rome.

Without question the worst reception staff & management they are very rude Very unfriendly. Very unhelpful I've never had such a shockingly bad experience there's something drastically wrong at this hotel. AC turned off, shower tray broken The manager led his team to the lowest level of customer service ever.

Stayed one night as the ending hotel on a tour. Location is totally off limits in a residential area very far from the city with no attractions at all nearby. Zero, zilch, zip, nada. I blame the tour company on this issue. Hoyle itself is not bad. Room is a bit small though. Breakfast is standard. Overall it’s not a bad hotel if you are not a tourist. It’s probably suitable for non-tourism purposes. That’s all I am saying.

An extremely expensive hotel compared to what they offer. The bathroom smells a lot to tobacco and the shower is very small. The water comes out of it and they do not refill the gel and shampoo correctly. The outside window doesn't close properly and the air conditioning does not work. The takeaway breakfast is disastrous, they give you a brick juice and an industrial curassan. In the restaurant they are extremely slow and the price is high. The beds are very small, and the elevator works really bad. In conclusion, a very poor hotel for its price.

Rooms were clean but AC completely inadequate. AC in all rooms is turned off for four hours each night, and when the room is already hot, it makes for a very uncomfortable room. Very small bathroom. Hotel staff is very nice. The neighborhood is fine, with good restaurants within walking distance. The pharmacy near the hotel had such nice people working! Suggest coffee shop at the coffee shop outside and to the left of the entrance.
